Maureen Baxley, M.D. has been privileged to care for the health of children over the last 26 years. After receiving a B.S. degree in community nutrition and beginning a career as a registered dietitian, she made a decision to continue her education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine; receiving her M.D. degree in 1994. She completed her pediatrics residency at Columbia Presbyterian Babies and Children’s Hospital in New York City. Dr. Baxley is a board-certified pediatrician dedicated to partnering with her patients and their families. As the managing physician of Advocare Florham Park Pediatrics, her practice promotes fundamental health habits including eating food that support healthy microbiome, exercising regularly, sleeping, and getting immunized. She has particular interest in the fields of child development, developmental disabilities, positive discipline strategies, mental health, and nutrition. Outside the office Dr. Baxley enjoys running, yoga, hiking, and gardening. She is a proud mother of 2 and a wife of 30 years to her best friend.
