Ellen Ganek, M.D. has been a board-certified pediatrician since 2002. She received a liberal arts degree in cultural anthropology from the University of Michigan followed by an M.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Arizona’s Health Sciences Center where she devoted special attention to preventative medicine and Native American health. During the past decade of her pediatrics practice Dr. Ganek has focused on preventative care and maintenance health; emphasizing the paramount importance of nutrition and exercise. She has developed and directed a successful multidisciplinary weight management program for children as well as a support group for mothers. Outside of the office, Dr. Ganek is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys running and cycling. Most of all she enjoys spending time with her 3 sons.
